Protein bars: Bullshit or miracle cure? 5 facts hard facts

My first introduction to protein bars came when I was in college. I had tried them in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I had read some of the reviews about them on this site and was intrigued. Then I read a couple reviews that seemed like they were trying to compare protein bars to candy bars. So I took one bite out of a protein bar and said, "Hey, this tastes really good." It didn't taste good at all. The next thing I know, my stomach was doing flips. I was so full I thought I was going to go to the hospital. That was pretty much it for my taste for protein bars. I would never order any of them again.

The good news is that I did not get sick. As far as the ingredients go, I think the chocolate and caramel were okay, and there was a lot of nuts, but overall the taste just wasn't that good. Also, the ingredients are all natural (no added sugar), so I am confident I don't have any health problems from eating these. I still recommend the protein bars for sure, and if you are interested in a good bar, then I definitely suggest a box of these.
