Many of these products will have a label stating that they contain vitamins, minerals, or other active ingredients. Some of these products are marketed to be "food grade." In some cases, it is hard to tell. You'll see these labels on products that have been in the field for many years.
If you buy any of the products that I have listed here, please don't be fooled into thinking that they are "food grade." If you look at some of these products on this site, you will see that many contain a variety of active ingredients, including, but not limited to, protein powders, herbal products, vitamin/mineral supplements, and amino acid supplements. These products are sold by a wide variety of companies. For example, there is a popular brand of protein powder, called "My Protein." This company is owned by The Honest Company. I will review the product, but don't buy the product if you're looking for food grade products. It may be wise to check the labels of many of the supplements that you are interested in. If you need to make a change to your diet, you can always use an energy supplement. If you are pregnant or have a condition that may put you at risk for anemia, there are other forms of energy that can help you.
